Upon retirement, after a career of 45 years in the Printing Ink Trade, and as many as a part time musician, I decided it was time to look for new interests. It was easy to leave the ink business behind, but my love of music would never cease along with our passion for hiking.



My wife and I had an interest in miniatures. She liked to collect, and I would go to shows with her. After a few shows I decided to try my hand at making various items for our small collection.

A year later and after much experimenting with designs and learning how to make various parts, I made my first crystal chandelier (Prelude). It was a six light chandelier with Austrian crystals and gold plated brass arms.

Many friends and fellow miniaturists encouraged me to display my wares in the Portland OR miniature show. Thus began my adventures in the miniature world. I have expanded my line and now make many different items using Austrian crystals whenever possible.
